Solid, sturdy and safe, Blocker Fire are certified EI60 and EI30, according to the European standard UNI EN 1634-1, thanks to passing specific tests that ensure compliance with the rigorous standards prescribed.

The term “EI” initials the ability of a product to retain, in the face of fire attack, certain characteristics for a set time. Each letter refers to a different characteristic.

“E” stands for flame-tightness. “I” stands for thermal insulation, that is, the ability to reduce heat transmission.

Accordingly, “EI” is defined as a product such as Blocker Fire that, in addition to the previous qualities, limits temperatures on the ‘cold’ side, not in direct contact with fire. Safe against fire and break-in attempts.
